Our players in this sample game will be known as T-800, Yoda, and Verbal Kint. Verbal shuffles the deck and asks the T-800 Terminator unit to cut the deck. The leather clad, muscle stacked cyborg lifts a giant Bowie knife out of his coat.

"Wait! Stop! Put the knife away. Yoda, you cut the deck."

"But, you towld me to caht da deck. I do naht undahrstand," the Terminator insists.

Now, since Verbal was the Dealer, T-800 is the Connection. He begins play by placing a SEVEN onto the Squigby Pile. Got it?

Now, since Verbal was the Dealer, and T-800 was the Connection, Yoda is the Second Party Moocher. But seriously, he's just a short green Jedi. Yoda now has the opportunity to establish Direction. And he does this by playing a NINE. This means the Direction is going UP!
